a note from pedro...

 

in these rapidly changing times... we advise you to be aware, stay calm and take precautions.

if you would like to know what is happening at the bistro... phone to find out whether we are open or not...

if we are open it is because we are confident that the protocols we have in place will serve to protect you...

                                  this coming week (March 24th - 28th) we will be closed.

this is an effort that all of us should be participating in...

by going out as little as possible, and staying at home as much as possible, there is less chance to pass the infection to others. that slows the new infection rate..and helps to take pressure off of the healthcare system.

also, please be suspicious of what people are saying on social media right now. the anecdotal evidence you are hearing, is probably at least half incorrect. much of what I have read lately is inaccurate.

 

passing on untruths and exaggerations is both dangerous and irresponsible.

the amount of misinformation going around right now is staggering.

please be careful and aware of social distancing and the need to wash thoroughly and frequently

but also remember that if we as a community do not support our mexican hosts & neighbours,

when we re-emerge from our isolation...

there may not be much of a world left to come back to...
